Tiger should go back to Butch Harmon?
In the 2-years period between 1999-2001 Memorial, Tiger has won 20 of 40 PGA tournaments, include 5 of 8 commanders and had a level of golf has never been seen before or since. I doubt they ever will come close to that level again unless the fire Hank Haney. There were signs of last year to do so again now he has lost. His swing is less than the current version of 1999-2001, no matter what he or one of her adoring fans say. Of course, he will say his swing is better now, but that does not mean better. He is in denial if you think your current swing is better. It will break Jacks case, but we can not forget to Tiger to see once more the following: 52 consecutive rounds at par or better (2000 Byron Nelson Classic – 2001 Phoenix Open) 35 consecutive tournaments at par or better (1999 PGA Championship – 2001 Memorial Tournament) Double-digit margin of victory in a major tournament (U.S. Open 2000) 4 majors in a row (2000 U.S. Open, Masters, 2001)
Interesting question, though now that his enemy, Phat Phil is the price of those of Butchie, there is even less likely to return there in the past (when there were about 0% probability of this). I agree with you that, at least from my perception, the golf swing Tiger was better pre-Haney. Under somewhat artificial. I think however, his release and follow more natural than I've seen this week after Haney then maybe it is actually progress. As you probably heard, Tiger's trying to improve – no rest and certainly not in decline. Ultimately, in his opinion, of course, is the only important and based on its past history of dealing with issues in black and white, I can not see sticking around long term, if he saw Hank's help to get where he wants to be – Friend or no friend. In any case, the possibility of him returning to work with Butch Harmon is zero, zero, nothing. Too much water under the bridge. It will be interesting to see what happens.
