Golf Elite founder and President, was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and attended the University of Miami (Florida) on a golf scholarship.  While at the University of Miami in 1980, Berteotti participated in a three-way playoff for the NCAA golf championship title.  In 1985, she qualified for the LPGA tour and recorded her first victory in 1993, winning the Ping Welch's Classic in Boston.  After touring and playing for 14 years, Berteotti decided to focus on coaching golf and spending more time at home with her family and newborn son.  Her career earnings had exceeded the $1 million mark. 

Was also born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  After a stellar junior career in the Pittsburgh area, she also attended the University of Miami.
